To waste time or procrastinate.
Typically the children lollygag when its time to leave for the dentist office.

A stupid mistake.

A young male.

An attempt to have intercourse with someone.
After my date with Sandy last night, I tried to put the moves on her. Then her old-man chased me out of the house with a shotgun.

smart as a whip, phrase

A person who is exceedingly intelligent. No one knows why they are compared to a whip. Legend has it, it has something to do with Indiana Jones.
Johnny got an A+ on that test! That lad sure is smart as a whip!

beat a dead horse, phrase

When a topic of conversation is talked about endlessly without any new contribution to the subject at hand.
Now, Jim, I don't want to beat a dead horse, however, let's talk about what to do with the broken ice box.

doughboy, noun

Soldiers found particularly in World War I, however the name originates from the Mexican-American War of 1846. The term lost popularity after World War II due to the acceptance of other terms such as G.I., troop, and dogface.
That doughboy is a fine piece of meat.

Used to tell someone they are guilty of the exact same thing they are pointing out in someone else; hypocritical.
Why did you tell Mary not to be a slut, when you sleep with every guy that moves? That's like the pot calling the kettle black!

Hitting someone on the shoulder after stepping on an empty cigarette pack of Lucky Strikes (found on the sidewalk).
